Morsan Vintage Wooden Downhill Skis Cable Bindings Cream Burgundy Stripe Pair
A striking pair of vintage Morsan wooden downhill skis featuring a classic cream and burgundy stripe design. Each ski displays the embossed metal 'MORSAN' badge plate near the tip, a hallmark of quality mid-century ski construction. The bold burgundy center stripe runs the full length of both skis with yellow lettering reading what appears to be a model name along the stripe. Original cable-style safety bindings are intact on both skis, adding to their authentic vintage character. These skis stand approximately 7 feet tall, making them an impressive display piece for a ski lodge, cabin, mountain home, or vintage sports enthusiast. The wood cores and metal edges show genuine age with surface scratches, oxidation on the metal edges, paint wear, and tip scuffs consistent with decades of use and storage. The overall structure appears solid with no visible cracks or breaks in the wood. Condition flaws to note: significant surface scratching on the topsheet of both skis, oxidized and pitted metal edges, worn paint along the edges, and general patina throughout. The bindings show rust and wear but remain attached. Sold as a decorative pair, not intended for skiing use.
