Gibraltar Mfg. Vintage Electric Wall Clock Precision Self Starting USA

A classic mid-century electric wall clock made by Gibraltar Mfg. Inc. of Jersey City, NJ. The dial reads 'Precision Self Starting' and 'Made in USA,' hallmarks of the institutional and school clocks Gibraltar produced from the 1940s through the 1960s. The clock features a bold black steel case with a convex glass crystal, a crisp white dial with large black Arabic numerals, black hour and minute hands, and a red sweep second hand. It is plug-in electric with the original black cord and two-prong plug intact. The case measures approximately 14 to 16 inches in diameter (please confirm exact measurement before purchase). Condition is good for its age. The dial shows light age toning and scattered minor spotting, and there is some surface grime on the convex glass. The case retains its original dark finish with normal age wear. The cord appears original and unfrayed. A handsome piece of American industrial history that suits vintage, mid-century modern, school, or industrial-themed interiors.
