Vintage Speedaway Wood Steel Runner Sled Mid-Century w/ Ice Skates

Classic vintage Speedaway wooden sled featuring the original painted deck with bold red speed-stripe graphics and the iconic SPEEDAWAY lettering in a retro serif font. The sled is constructed of slatted hardwood planks with red-painted steel runners and a traditional wooden steering handle at the front. The original painted graphics retain strong color and character despite age-appropriate wear, including fading, surface scratches, and some oxidation on the metal runners and hardware. The wood shows natural weathering and patina consistent with its age. This is a charming piece of American winter nostalgia, equally at home as a functional display prop or a vintage collectible. Approximate overall length is roughly 48 to 54 inches based on photo proportions - please confirm measurement before shipping. A pair of vintage white figure ice skates is included in this lot, shown draped over the sled for display. The skates show wear to the leather uppers and surface rust on the blades. Decorative garland shown in photos is not included.
