This piece carries the original Bianco Gallery of Buckingham, PA label on the back (inventory number 817) listing artist, title, medium and size. A bright winter scene: a snow covered farm field with long blue shadows, a fence line and small creek, bare trees, and a stone farmhouse with evergreens against wooded hills. Signed Richey in blue at lower right. Pastel on paper, image 6.25 by 7.5 inches, framed to roughly 11 by 13 inches overall in a carved gold leaf frame and glazed with Tru Vue Museum Glass anti reflective UV glass, wire hanger on back. The pastel surface is clean and vivid. The gilt frame shows honest wear with rubbing and small chips to the gold along the edges, visible in the photos. A well documented, gallery provenance piece by one of the region's best known pastel painters.
