Barbara J. McCorkindale Original Watercolor The Beauty of Winter Sledding Doylestown

Original signed watercolor by Bucks County artist Barbara J. McCorkindale of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, titled "The Beauty of Winter" in the artist's hand on her signed business card taped to the back. A charming small winter scene: a child in a red coat and red knit cap rides a wooden sled down a snowy lane past dried winter grasses, with a farmhouse and distant hills behind. Signed McCorkindale at lower right. Matted in a warm tan mat and framed under glass with a wire hanger. Small format, well suited to a holiday display, entry hall or child's room. Paper and mat are clean with no foxing, fading or water damage visible; frame shows light wear. A sweet piece of local Doylestown art from a regional painter.
