Original Watercolor Stone Bank Barn Red Shed Bucks County Ornate Gold Framed
Original watercolor of a Pennsylvania style stone bank barn with a forebay, a white board and batten shed with a big multi pane window, and a little red outbuilding, all framed by tall leafy trees and a foreground meadow of tangled summer grasses. Finely drawn stonework and siding with lively dry brush foliage; a very accomplished piece. Signed in ink at the lower right, though the signature is small and we have not been able to read it; happy to send a close up. Wide white mat in an ornate gold leaf finish wood frame with a shell and bead carved border, under glass. Overall frame approximately 18 by 22 inches; image approximately 10 by 13 inches (measured from photos, please allow small variance). The back carries a Fredrix archival label from the mounting board. Condition: painting is clean with no foxing or fading seen. Mat has one small mark near the upper right. Frame is in good condition with minor gilt wear at the corners.
