Lloyd Garrison Original Oil Painting Santa Rooftop Reindeer Christmas 8x10

Original oil on canvas by listed American artist Lloyd Garrison (b. 1944), the New Jersey painter known for his Christmas subjects, including two series of Christmas plates for the Bradford Exchange. A humorous scene: Santa has slipped on a snowy rooftop and only his red boots and fur trimmed trousers show, dangling over the icy eaves, while his reindeer team and a sack of toys look on beside the chimney under a starry night sky. A small title card on the liner reads "Ho Ho Ho... Whoa!!" Signed Lloyd Garrison at the lower right. Tightly painted with fine detail in the toys, reindeer harness and icicles. Canvas 8 by 10 inches. Ornate gold finish wood frame with a linen liner, frame back stamped BAJA 8X10. Overall approximately 13 by 15 inches (measured from photos, please allow small variance). Not glazed. Condition: painted surface is clean with no visible damage or losses. Frame has some scuffs and gold finish wear on the back edges. The little title card is lightly tucked into the liner.
