Small Original Oil Painting Winter Village Church Steeples Snow Gold Frame 8x6

Small original oil sketch of a New England style village in winter: two white church steeples rise over a cluster of colorful houses with lit windows, dark evergreens and a bare tree in the foreground, snow falling against blue hills. Loose, cheerful impressionist brushwork with thick paint texture and dabs of yellow window light. A signature is partly visible at the lower right edge but runs under the frame lip and could not be read. Gold tone wood frame with a beaded inner edge, no glass. Overall approximately 8 by 6 inches; painting approximately 5 by 4 inches (measured from photos, please allow small variance). Wire hanger on the back, held with clips into a cardboard backing. Condition: painting surface is sound. The frame has scattered spots of worn and missing gilding, heaviest at the upper left and lower right corners, which gives it a pleasantly aged look. Cardboard backing is age darkened with an old paint drip near the bottom.
