B. McGettigan Original Watercolor Beach Dunes Snow Fence Umbrella 2000 Framed

Original watercolor of a coastal dune scene, signed B. McGettigan with a copyright mark and dated '00 (2000) at the lower right. Weathered snow fencing runs along the front of the dunes, sea grass and scrub cover the sand, and a striped beach umbrella peeks over the far dune under a stormy blue gray sky. Loose, confident brushwork in the plein air style; reads as a Jersey Shore or Delaware beach scene. Cream mat in an ornate gold and gray toned wood frame with embossed leaf and scroll detail, under glass. Overall frame approximately 16 by 13 inches; image approximately 10 by 8 inches (measured from photos, please allow small variance). Condition: very good. Mat is clean, no foxing, tears or water damage visible on the paper. Frame is intact with only light wear to the finish.
