C.H. Blumberg Original Watercolor Winter Cottage Creek Landscape Gilt Framed

Original watercolor winter scene signed C.H. Blumberg at the lower right. A stone chimneyed cottage sits beside a rocky, fast moving creek with snow covered banks, bare trees and layered blue mountains in the distance under a soft blue sky. Nicely handled light and shadow on the snow. White mat in an ornate antique gold finish wood frame with embossed leaf and scroll detail, under glass. Overall frame approximately 16 by 13 inches; image approximately 10 by 7 inches (please allow small variance, measured from photos). Condition: very good. No foxing, tears or staining seen on the painting or mat. The frame shows only light wear to the finish consistent with age, no chips or breaks.
