Original watercolor and gouache painting titled Morning Snow by Bucks County, Pennsylvania artist Pamela Parsons, a Doylestown-born impressionist painter whose work has been juried into the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society International Show and the New Hope Art Commission Regional Show and is carried by galleries in Bucks County and beyond. The scene is an Upper Bucks County winter field at first light: bare young trees holding traces of red leaves stand in fresh snow before rolling blue hills under a pale peach and lavender sky, with long violet shadows across the drifts. Signed in the lower left; the artist's handwritten label on the back gives the title, location, medium and image size. Image size 15.5 by 18 inches per the artist's label. Custom framed by Michelyn Galleries of New Britain, PA in a gold-leaf style wood frame with a double blue mat, under glass. Overall framed size approximately 25 by 22 inches. Please confirm with a tape measure if size is critical. The label also records the original price of $195. Condition is very good. No visible damage to the artwork; the frame shows only minor wear consistent with age.
