M. Ventola Signed Original Watercolor Autumn Harbor Cottage Ornate Gold Frame 10x8

Small original watercolor on paper signed M. Ventola in the lower left. The scene is a fall village view with a cottage and chimney framed by amber and orange autumn trees, a figure walking in the foreground, and a boat mast and dock on the water beyond. Loose, confident brushwork in a warm palette of golds, browns and rust with touches of blue. Double matted in cream and slate gray and set in an ornate gold-tone carved frame with acanthus leaf and beaded molding, under glass. Frame measures approximately 10 by 8 inches overall; the image is roughly 4 by 3 inches. Kraft dust cover and hanging wire on the back. Condition is very good. No visible damage to the painting, mats or glass. Frame shows only minor wear.
