One-of-a-kind — only one available.

Set of five vintage hardcover books from The Mayflower Classics series, published by International. Titles included: The Works of Shakespeare, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Clemens), The Adventures of Oliver Twist (Dickens), The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Clemens), and Robin Hood (Gilbert). All five have red cloth-covered boards with black spine labels and gold lettering. The front cover of Robin Hood shows the decorative Mayflower ship medallion embossed in black. The Shakespeare volume is a notably different binding style, lighter red faded cloth with a vertical ornamental spine design and no black label, suggesting it may be from a different print run or edition than the other four. Spines on all five show fading, and the Shakespeare volume has the most significant fading and cloth wear. The four Mayflower Classics volumes are in comparable condition with moderate fading to the red cloth and some fraying at the spine tops. No dust jackets present.
