Vintage Square ACL Glass Milk Bottle Your Milkman Girl Graphic Dairy Quart 9in

Vintage square-sided glass milk bottle with an applied color label on both faces. One side carries a script dairy name that reads like Mowrer over a banner panel lettered YOUR MILKMAN. The reverse has a charming painted graphic of a little girl in a dress above the line See what you... with OUR STERILIZED / PROOF / SAVER lettering below her. Wide mouth with the original cap ledge, square body, smooth recessed base. About 9 inches tall with a roughly 3.5 inch square base. Condition is as dug and uncleaned: heavy dirt and mineral haze coat the inside and outside, which mutes the label and leaves the dairy name only partly readable. No chips and no cracks were found on the rim, body or base. A careful soak should lift most of the soil and bring the colors back, and it should reveal the full dairy name and town. Sold uncleaned and as pictured, so the buyer gets the fun of doing that themselves.
