Official BMW Sauber F1 Team cap in navy blue cotton twill. The front carries an embroidered BMW roundel in blue, white and black with BMW Sauber F1 Team embroidered below it in white, and the brim has a red and white sandwich trim along the edge. Adjustable closure at the back and the team branding repeated on the inner sweatband. BMW Sauber ran in Formula 1 from 2006 through 2009, so this is a genuine period team cap rather than a modern reissue. Condition is well used and priced that way: the brim is heavily soiled along the top and edges, the crown has surface dirt and some fading, and the sweatband is stained and partly pulling away from the shell. The embroidery itself is intact and sharp. A wash and a brim brush will improve it. Good for an F1 fan who wants the real BMW Sauber era piece rather than a display grade one.
