Hoffman Beverage Co Reinhardt Newark NJ Embossed Soda Bottles Lot 3 Quart

Three large embossed beverage bottles from Newark, New Jersey bottlers, sold together as one lot. Each stands roughly 10 to 11 inches, quart class. The center bottle is emerald green with REINHARDT and NEWARK, N.J. embossed around the heel along with the contents line. One clear bottle is embossed HOFFMAN BEVERAGE CO. NEWARK, N.J. around its heel. The third clear bottle has a band of horizontal ribbing around the lower body. All three are crown top, empty, and have no caps. Sold uncleaned exactly as found: heavy grime, mineral haze and dark spotting over all three, worst on the ribbed clear bottle. A soak with a bottle brush and a little oxalic acid brings bottles like these back and makes the embossing pop. No chips or cracks seen. A good regional grouping for a New Jersey collector, a bar shelf, or a window of colored glass.
