A. Ferrency New Philadelphia PA Aqua Embossed Crown Top Soda Bottle 7 oz 1900s

Early 1900s aqua glass soda bottle from A. Ferrency of New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The body is embossed REGISTERED above a round slug plate reading A. FERRENCY / NEW PHILA., PA., with 7 FLUID OUNCES around the heel and NOT TO BE REFILLED on the base. The finish is a crown top, which puts it after about 1905. Roughly 7 to 8 inches tall. Uncleaned as found: heavy dust and mineral haze over the glass and a little iridescence inside the base from time in the ground or a damp cellar. Most of that comes off with a soak and a bottle brush if you want it bright, or leave it as dug. No chips or cracks seen and the embossing is crisp and fully readable. A good local bottler piece for a Pennsylvania or Schuylkill County collection.
