Snap-on IM Series Air Impact Wrench D-Handle Grip Power People 1970s-80s Boot

Snap-on pneumatic impact wrench in the classic D-handle grip shop format, wearing its factory orange protective boot over the hammer case. The Snap-on name and the older 'the power people' script are both visible on the housing, which places it in the 1970s to 1980s IM series. Cast aluminum housing, knurled forward and reverse selector on the back with the direction arrows cast into the plate, detent pin anvil, and a brass quick-connect fitting installed at the base of the grip. The boot covers the data plate, so the model number and drive size are not visible in these photos; sliding the boot back will expose them, and a buyer should confirm the drive size before ordering sockets. Condition is hard-used shop stock: the boot is dirty, scuffed and split at the edges, there is grime throughout, and the finish is worn on the housing. Sold untested, with no sockets or hose included.
