Snap-on Pneumatic Air Impact Wrench D-Handle Compact Vintage USA Serial 96200772

Snap-on pneumatic impact wrench, made in USA. The Snap-on logo and the old 'the power people' script are cast into the housing. The rear plate is stamped USA with serial number 96200772, but the model number above it has been abraded down and can no longer be read. For what it is worth, the plate layout, the casting and the serial series all match the Snap-on IM31 also in this lot, so this is very likely the same compact model, but we will not put a model number on it that we cannot read. Forward and reverse lever on the back of the head marked R and F, spring loaded ball detent on the anvil nose, power regulator on the side. Condition is heavily used. Grease, grime and surface corrosion cover most of the body and the anvil. The air inlet fitting is missing and the inlet bore is rusty with debris packed in it, so the threads will want chasing and a new fitting before this tool sees air. The anvil shows wear but the detent ball is present and the reverse lever moves. Untested and sold as-is. Please confirm the drive size against your sockets before buying; it was not measured and the model plate cannot settle it.
