Snap-on IM31 3/8 in Drive Air Impact Wrench Pneumatic Vintage USA Power People

Snap-on IM31 pneumatic impact wrench with a 3/8 inch square drive. The back of the head is stamped IM31, USA, with serial number 96370216 below it, and the body carries the old Snap-on 'the power people' script that dates this to an earlier production run. Compact D-handle grip tool about 7 inches long, with a forward and reverse lever on the back of the head and a threaded female air inlet at the base of the handle. The 3/8 drive size makes these handy for interior and engine bay work where a 1/2 blaster will not fit. Condition is heavily used. The original finish has worn away over most of the body leaving bare aluminum, grime and grease are built up on every surface, and there is surface rust around the air inlet and the rear cap screws. No cracks in the housing, the anvil is intact and the reverse lever moves. It has not been run on air, so it is sold untested and as-is. No protective boot or accessories included.
