Vintage Brown Drip Glaze Stoneware Soup Crocks Bowls Set of 2 One Lid USA 6in
Two vintage brown drip glaze stoneware individual soup crocks, the classic 1960s to 1980s American oven proof style. Both are stamped USA on the base. One crock has a fitted lid with a tan knob; the second crock has no lid. Both have a single stick handle, a dark brown base glaze, and cream and amber drip running down from the rim. Each is about 6 inches across the rim and 3.5 inches tall, with the handle adding roughly 3 inches. The two crocks are similar but not an identical matched pair: one has a lighter tan drip rim and a cream unglazed base, the other a heavier mottled drip and a darker body. Condition: glaze crazing inside both crocks, typical for pieces this age, and some drip buildup on the inner rim of the lidded crock. No chips or cracks found on rims, handles, or lid. Great for French onion soup, chili, or baked dips.
