Antique Olive Green Glass Wine Bottle Applied Lip Pontil Base 1800s
A beautiful antique hand-blown glass wine or champagne bottle in a rich olive green color, consistent with European glassmaking of the 19th century. The bottle features a classic applied blob lip finish at the top, a gracefully sloping shoulder, and a deep kick-up base with a pontil scar visible on the bottom, all hallmarks of pre-machine-made glass production. The glass has a lovely natural color variation and visible air bubbles and impurities throughout, adding to its authentic character. No mold seam runs to the top of the lip, further supporting a pre-1900 manufacture date. The bottle stands approximately 11-12 inches tall based on hand scale, with a wide body tapering to a long neck. Condition shows light surface scratching and interior residue consistent with age. No chips or cracks visible. Empty and free of contents. A handsome display piece for bottle collectors, antique enthusiasts, or as a decorative accent.
