Antique Chas H. Fletcher Castoria Medicine Bottle, Aqua Glass

Charming antique embossed glass medicine bottle from Chas H. Fletcher's Castoria, a popular 19th to early 20th century children's laxative remedy. The bottle features clear embossed script reading 'Chas H. Fletcher' on one panel and 'CASTORIA' on the opposite panel, both in raised lettering molded into the aqua-tinted glass. The base is embossed with what appears to be 'R U.S.A. 5' along with a circular maker's mark, consistent with bottles from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The rectangular body tapers to a narrow rolled-lip neck with no original stopper present. The glass displays a subtle aqua-green tint characteristic of period glass production. Some light interior residue and minor surface dirt are visible, along with a small crack or fissure visible near the top shoulder area in one photo. No chips to the lip are apparent. Overall a solid display-worthy example of a highly collectible patent medicine bottle.
