Vintage Clear Glass Milk Bottle Small Dairy Jar Mid-Century

$11.00
Collectibles

Charming small clear glass dairy bottle with classic wide-mouth rim and gently tapered cylindrical form. The bottle features a distinctive rolled lip at the top and a slightly bulbous body that narrows toward the base, typical of mid-century milk or cream bottles. The base is embossed with markings that read approximately '7 Q 59' and 'S', consistent with production codes used by glass manufacturers in the late 1950s to early 1960s. Approximate measurements: roughly 4 inches tall with a base diameter of about 2 inches and a mouth opening of approximately 1.5 inches. The glass has a faint greenish tint common to period production glass. Condition shows expected age-related grime on the base and interior residue, but no chips, cracks, or repairs are visible. A lovely piece for farmhouse decor, bud vase use, or a dairy bottle collection.
