Antique Embossed Glass Medicine Apothecary Bottle with Figural Base

$11.00
Collectibles

A charming small antique glass bottle, likely from the late 19th to early 20th century, with classic apothecary or patent medicine styling. The bottle features a rectangular body with chamfered corners transitioning to a round rolled lip at the top. A standout feature is the embossed base, which displays a raised circular design containing what appears to be a figural or animal motif surrounded by script text, consistent with period pharmaceutical or tonic branding. The glass has a light aqua-clear tone with a subtle aged patina. The remnants of a paper label are still visible on one face of the bottle, though it is heavily deteriorated and illegible. The interior shows some residual sediment or mineral deposits. No stopper is present. Approximate height is 3 inches, with a roughly 1-inch square base. The rolled lip shows light wear consistent with age. No chips or cracks are visible, though surface scratching and soil residue are present throughout.
