Antique Embossed Glass Sugar Starch Corn Syrup Shaker, Certified Colors Flavors
Charming miniature antique glass shaker featuring embossed text on multiple panels reading 'Sugar Starch Corn Syrup' on one side and 'Certified Colors Flavors' on another, with what appears to be a 1/4 oz embossed measurement marking. The bottle has a distinctive figural shape with a ribbed flared base, a rounded bulbous body with panel facets, and retains its original metal screw-on shaker top with multiple dispensing holes. The metal lid shows significant patina and oxidation consistent with its age. The clear glass body is in good condition with minor surface haze and light residue typical of antique kitchen glass. This type of small shaker was used by bakers and confectioners in the early-to-mid 20th century to dispense powdered sugars, starches, food colorings, or flavorings. Approximate height is roughly 2.5 to 3 inches based on hand scale. A great find for collectors of antique kitchen glass, advertising bottles, or general store memorabilia.
