Antique Cobalt Blue Glass Bottle Small Apothecary Ink Bottle

$18.00
Collectibles

Charming small antique cobalt blue glass bottle in a rich, saturated royal blue color. The bottle features a cylindrical body with a tooled screw-top neck and a distinctive beaded or crenellated rim around the base of the neck collar - a hallmark of early American glass production. The base shows what appears to be a maker's mark or mold number embossed in the glass. The bottle stands approximately 2 to 2.5 inches tall based on proportion to the hand shown, with a diameter of roughly 1 inch. This style is consistent with late 19th to early 20th century apothecary, ink, or patent medicine bottles. Surface shows age-appropriate grime, light scratching, and some residue around the base and neck, all consistent with genuine age and use. No chips or cracks are visible. The cap or stopper is missing. A great piece for antique bottle collectors or as a decorative accent.
