White's Electronics Goldmaster TR-Discriminator Metal Detector w/ Multi 4B Coil

Vintage White's Electronics Goldmaster TR-Discriminator metal detector, manufactured by White's Electronics Inc. of Sweet Home, Oregon. This classic box-style detector features an analog Signal Intensity meter with Battery Check function, four control knobs covering Metal-Mineral balance, Meter Sensitivity, Discriminate, and Volume, plus a three-position Detector Mode switch (Norm, Auto, Disc) and a Function switch with battery voltage selector (Off, 9, 1-cell, 12, Operate). A gold-tone speaker grille is centered on the front panel. The unit is finished in a textured blue-gray metal housing with brass-tone accents and a ribbed black carry handle. Included is a White's Multi 4B Waterproof search coil, approximately 10 inches in diameter, labeled as a Transmitter-Receiver coil with Mineral-Metal capability. The coil retains its original blue-and-cream label in good readable condition and connects via a coiled white cable with a standard plug. The control box appears to be in good cosmetic shape with expected age-related wear including minor scuffs on the housing corners. The coil shows surface scratching and general age patina on the cream plastic shell. No stem or lower rod assembly is included - this is the control box and coil only. Functionality is untested and sold as-is. A collectible and functional piece of American metal detecting history from a brand with a decades-long reputation in the hobby.
