A classic A.C. Gilbert Metal Electric Microscope, model No. 13107, complete in its original box. This vintage science toy magnifies up to 75 times actual size and features a plug-in electric illuminator for bright, clear viewing. The microscope body is metal construction in a tan/taupe finish with a white eyepiece tube and a sturdy flat base. The set includes glass slides, a specimen (labeled 'Feather'), the electric illuminator with cord and plug, and additional accessories nestled in the original foam tray. A wonderful piece of mid-century Americana that doubles as a fully functional educational instrument and a nostalgic collectible.
