Set of 3 Antique Porcelain Tea Cups Cobalt Blue Iris Floral Gold
A charming set of three antique porcelain tea cups featuring a classic cobalt blue band at the rim with delicate gold scrollwork accents. Each cup is decorated with a hand-painted style pink iris blossom and green foliage against a soft white ground. The raised, lightly molded floral design gives the pieces a dimensional, tactile quality. Interiors are a clean cream-white with a smooth glaze. Two of the cups retain their cobalt blue handles; one cup appears to be missing its handle or has a handle break - please note this when listing. Cups measure approximately 3 inches in diameter and roughly 2 inches tall. The style is consistent with late 19th to early 20th century Japanese export porcelain or European flow-blue influenced ware. Minor spotting and age-related wear are visible on the interiors and exteriors, consistent with their age. Gold trim shows some light wear. Sold as a set of three.
