Antique English Majolica-Style Teapot Body, Brown Glaze Floral Decor

A striking antique ceramic teapot body featuring a bold two-tone design. The upper half is finished in crisp white with hand-painted decoration including large cobalt blue sunflower or peacock-feather motifs, delicate red berry sprigs, and gold luster banding around the rim and equator. The lower half is covered in a rich, mottled dark brown tortoiseshell glaze. The handle and spout are formed from naturalistic twisted branch-form clay, also finished in the brown glaze. The lid is missing, leaving the wide circular opening exposed. The base is unglazed terracotta with a number marking (588 H) applied in orange paint, likely an old catalog or collection number.
