Vintage Japanese Porcelain Plates Set of 7 Blue Geisha Scallop Edge

A charming set of seven small porcelain plates featuring a classic Japanese scenic design. Each plate displays a central vignette of geisha figures in colorful kimono strolling near a traditional pagoda amid cherry blossoms and pine trees. Peony and floral sprays in pink, red, and green fill the upper portion of each plate, accented with gold scroll detailing. The wide scalloped border is finished in a rich cobalt blue with a ribbed texture and gilt highlights throughout. The reverse is plain white glaze with a recessed foot ring and no visible maker's mark. Plates appear to be approximately 6 to 7 inches in diameter based on proportions shown. The style and decoration are consistent with late Meiji to early Taisho era Japanese export porcelain, circa 1890s to 1920s. Condition varies slightly across pieces - gold accents show wear and some loss on several plates, and there is minor crazing visible on at least one example. No chips or cracks are noted in the photos, though all pieces should be inspected carefully. A lovely display or collector set with considerable decorative appeal.
