Antique RS Prussia Porcelain Bowl, Rose Floral Scalloped Edge
A beautiful antique porcelain bowl bearing what appears to be an RS Prussia mark on the base, a hallmark of fine German porcelain production from the late 19th to early 20th century. The interior features a soft, hand-painted style rose motif in blush pink and cream tones, set against a dreamy watercolor-style background of teal, green, lavender, and gold. Ribbed, shell-like panels radiate from the center, and the ruffled scalloped rim adds elegant dimension. Gold accent trim runs along the ribs and edges, showing some light wear consistent with age. The exterior is white with a high-gloss glaze. The base shows visible crazing lines and some minor wear to the foot ring. Approximately 8 to 9 inches in diameter and about 2.5 inches tall. A lovely display piece for collectors of antique porcelain and Victorian-era decorative arts.
