Chinese Cloisonne Lidded Box with Wood Stand, Floral Enamel Decor

A lovely example of Chinese cloisonne craftsmanship, this round lidded box features a white ground decorated with intricate wire-work cloud and scroll patterns in gold tone throughout the body. The domed lid showcases a central arrangement of pink cherry blossoms and green foliage, surrounded by a border of blue and teal peacock-eye motifs that continues around the shoulder of the bowl. Brass rim bands and a round brass finial top complete the piece. The interior is finished in solid turquoise-blue enamel. The bottom bears a stamp reading 'Hand Painted, Made in China.' Included is a carved dark rosewood-style display stand with scrolling foliate relief on the apron and small feet. The bowl measures approximately 4.5 inches in diameter and stands roughly 2 inches tall without the lid; total height with lid and stand is approximately 5 inches. Condition is very good overall, with minor wear to the wood stand including some loss of lacquer finish. The cloisonne itself shows vivid color with no visible enamel chips or cracks in the photos.
