Antique Disston Hand Saw with Carved Wood Handle, Heavy Patina, ~26in

Large antique hand saw with a classic D-handle grip carved wooden handle featuring decorative open-work cutouts and traditional medallion bolts securing the blade. The blade measures approximately 24 to 26 inches in length with crosscut-style teeth along the top edge. The steel blade displays heavy surface rust and patina fully consistent with its age, giving it tremendous character and visual presence. The wooden handle shows significant wear including paint and finish loss, cracking, and a small area of wood deterioration near the top of the grip opening. One of the medallion bolts retains an embossed maker's mark within a circular beaded border, partially legible and consistent with Disston saw medallions used across multiple production eras. Teeth appear intact along the blade spine. This saw has strong display appeal as vintage workshop decor or as a centerpiece piece for antique tool collectors.
