ERTL 1920 Delivery Truck Coin Bank Union National Promotional Die-Cast USA 1974

A charming vintage die-cast metal coin bank styled as a 1920s delivery truck, made in the USA. The bank features a warm bronze-gold finish with black plastic spoked wheels and a functional coin slot on the underside secured by a chrome-finished plate with screws. The cab area displays 'Union National' branding, making this a promotional bank piece. The bottom casting reads what appears to be a manufacturer mark dated 1974 along with a city and state attribution. A second box is also included, labeled as a 1918 Runabout Bank by ERTL for Big A Auto Parts (item 90-1), suggesting this lot may contain two related promotional bank boxes, though photos show one bank unit. The truck measures approximately 6-7 inches in length and 3 inches in height. Condition is good overall, showing light surface wear and minor paint scuffing consistent with age. The original white cardboard box is present but shows creasing, edge wear, and a small tear at the carry handle cutout. A great piece for collectors of advertising memorabilia, vintage banks, or promotional diecast vehicles.
