Antique Master Mechanic Hand Saw Ornate Cast Iron Handle Vintage
Antique hand saw by Master Mechanic featuring a highly ornate cast iron split-nut handle with decorative cutout design - a hallmark of quality American-made saws from the late 19th to early 20th century. The handle has an elegant open-back design with scroll-like cutouts and is secured to the blade with three medallion bolts/nuts. The steel blade shows age-appropriate patina, surface oxidation, and darkening consistent with its age, but appears structurally sound with intact teeth along the full cutting edge. An oval etched maker's medallion is visible on the blade near the handle, partially legible - appears to read 'Master Mechanic' with additional text. Blade tapers toward the toe in classic hand saw fashion. Estimated blade length approximately 22 - 26 inches based on proportions. A great display piece or functional user for the vintage tool collector. Pickup only.
