Vintage set of 9 woodworking chisels in original olive drab military-style canvas tool roll, manufactured by S.L. Jacobson Mfg. Co., Chicago, IL. The canvas roll is stenciled with the maker's name, city, and a stock number (41-8532-488-600). Pocket labels on the roll indicate fractional sizes ranging from 3/8" up to 1" (specifically: 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 19/32, 9/16, 11/16, 5/8, 25/32, 3/4, 7/8, 15/16, 1 - not all pockets filled). The chisels feature a mix of turned wooden handles including dark rosewood-toned and lighter natural wood styles; at least one handle visible has a small oval brand medallion. Blades are flat/bench chisel style in varying widths. Blades show patina, surface oxidation/light rust, and age wear consistent with decades of use. Handles show wear, minor cracking on some, and patina. Canvas roll is intact with all pockets present; minor soiling and age wear. Item is pickup only.
