German Christmas 1990 Beer Stein Pewter Lid Santa Village Scene

Beautifully detailed German beer stein dated 'Christmas 1990' with a richly colored relief scene wrapping around the body. The front features Santa Claus in his traditional red suit carrying a sack of gifts, set against a snowy nighttime village scene with a church steeple, moon, and gold stars. The reverse side depicts a medieval herald figure in colorful robes blowing a horn, surrounded by pine trees and snowflakes - all on a deep black background. The base and rim band are a warm tan/natural stoneware color. The handle is sculpted in a naturalistic tree-branch or antler style. The domed pewter lid is engraved with floral and scroll motifs and a coat-of-arms medallion, topped with a pointed finial. The hinge mechanism includes a decorative dragon/eagle thumb lift. The interior of the lid is stamped 'ZINN' (German for pewter/tin), confirming authentic pewter construction. Interior of the stein appears clean and uncracked. Approximately 5 - 6 inches tall without lid. No visible chips, cracks, or paint loss noted in photos.
