Pennsylvania Bicentennial State '76 License Plate Pair 519-52S

$34.99

FairVintage

Pair of Pennsylvania 'Bicentennial State '76' license plates featuring the iconic Liberty Bell centerpiece design. Both plates share the same registration number 519-52S. The front (display) plate is navy blue with bold yellow lettering and numbers, retaining its original 1972 and 1973 PA registration stickers in the upper corners - a great detail for collectors. The reverse plate is yellow with dark embossed lettering, photographed upside down, and shows significantly more wear including paint loss, oxidation, and surface grime. The blue front plate is in noticeably better shape with moderate surface rust along edges and some paint chips but retains strong color and legibility. These plates were issued for Pennsylvania's observance of the U.S. Bicentennial (1976). A classic piece of American automotive and patriotic history from the 1970s. Sold as a matching pair. Standard U.S. license plate dimensions approximately 6" x 12".
