$59.99

GoodVintage

Charming vintage cardboard tray-style jigsaw puzzle published by A.M. Walzer Co., Dover, N.J., catalog No. 75. The illustration depicts a smiling baby lying down, holding a cracker, with a white fluffy dog/cat nuzzling from above and a tabby kitten beside a 'Skippy' peanut butter lid - a classic advertising/promotional image from mid-20th century America. The artist signature appears to read 'Charlotte Becker' (or similar), a well-known illustrator of cute baby imagery during this era. Puzzle appears to be complete and assembled in the photo. Board measures approximately 10" x 13" estimated. Red border frame. Surface shows age-related foxing/water staining particularly in upper left corner and scattered spots across the image, consistent with age. Pieces appear intact with no obvious missing pieces visible. A wonderful piece of vintage Americana and advertising collectible.
