Antique Watkins Dandruff Remover Scalp Tonic Glass Bottle, Partial Label

A genuine antique embossed glass bottle from the J.R. Watkins Company, embossed on the side with 'WATKINS DANDRUFF REMOVER AND SCALP TONIC.' The rectangular, chamfered-corner form features a flared mouth and is typical of patent medicine and hair tonic bottles produced in the late 19th to early 20th century. The opposite face retains a beautifully aged partial paper label printed in teal, gold, and white, depicting what appears to be a classical or allegorical female figure beneath an arch - consistent with Victorian and Edwardian label art of the era. The base shows a glassmaker's mold mark. Approximate height is 5 inches; the rectangular body measures roughly 2.5 by 1.5 inches. The bottle is empty and has no stopper. Condition shows heavy exterior grime, mineral deposits, and interior residue consistent with age and likely ground or attic recovery. The paper label is heavily deteriorated, torn, and flaking but still remarkably present and colorful. No chips or cracks visible on the glass itself.
