Antique Clear Glass Medicine Apothecary Bottle Embossed Sides

$13.00
Collectibles

A charming antique clear glass bottle likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, typical of medicine, patent remedy, or apothecary use. The rectangular, slightly tapered body features embossed vertical ribbing or text along the side panels, and the neck has a classic sheared or tooled lip finish consistent with early machine-made or hand-finished production. The base shows a faint embossed maker's mark or mold symbol. Approximate height is 5 to 6 inches tall based on hand scale; the rectangular footprint measures roughly 2 by 1.5 inches. The glass has a faint aqua-clear tint common to period production. Condition shows honest age: sediment and grime buildup inside the base, dirt accumulation on the exterior, minor surface scratches, and remnants of an old paper label on the base. No chips or cracks are visible. A great display piece for a bottle collector, apothecary-themed decor, or vintage shelf styling.
