Antique Chip-EE Mfg. Co. Embossed Clear Glass Bottle, Early 1900s
A charming antique clear glass bottle embossed with 'CHIP-EE MFG. CO.' along the body. The bottle features a distinctive rectangular-to-octagonal cross-section with chamfered corners, a rolled and tooled double-ring lip finish, and embossed text and maker marks on the base. The glass has a light aqua tint common to early machine-made and hand-finished bottles. Overall dimensions appear to be roughly 4 to 5 inches tall based on hand scale, with a flat rectangular body tapering to a narrow neck. Condition shows age-appropriate interior residue, minor surface grime and mineral deposits on the neck and body, and light case wear throughout. No chips or cracks visible. A great piece for antique bottle collectors or fans of early American commercial glassware.
