Antique Clear Glass Medicine Apothecary Bottle, Rolled Lip, 5in

$13.00
Collectibles

A charming antique clear glass bottle with classic apothecary styling. The rectangular, paneled body features beveled corners that taper into a narrow neck finished with a distinctive rolled or tooled lip collar, a hallmark of pre-machine-age bottle making. The glass has a faint warm yellow-amber tint consistent with age. No embossing or labels are visible on any panel. Approximate height is 5 inches based on hand scale; the base is roughly 1.75 inches square. The bottle is empty and unembossed. Interior residue and mineral deposits are visible around the neck and inside the lip, consistent with age and old contents. No chips or cracks are visible on the body, though the interior lip shows some flaking of mineral deposits. A nice display piece for a vintage or farmhouse-style collection, or a solid addition to a bottle-digging enthusiast's shelf.
