Pier1 wooden storage trunk/blanket chest featuring an ornate geometric Moorish-style tile pattern on the front and side panels in warm earth tones - terracotta, burgundy, tan, taupe, and rust. The decorative panels appear to be embossed or printed fabric/leather insets framed by brass-toned metal corner trim and edge banding. The top lid is dark stained solid wood (dark walnut or mahogany finish) and opens via three hinges visible on the back. Two drop-ring iron/metal pull handles are mounted on the front and at least one on the end panels. The chest rests on small block feet. The back panel is plain dark-stained wood with visible hinge hardware. Condition notes visible in photos: The top lid shows significant surface scratching, scuffing, and finish wear - particularly notable white/grey scratch marks across the top surface. Some wear and minor chipping to the finish on the back and base corners. The decorative panel on one end appears to have a small blue discoloration or patch. The brass-toned trim shows patina and age. Overall structurally appears intact and solid. Estimated dimensions based on proportions relative to flooring: approximately 40" wide x 20" deep x 20" tall.
